Sheet metal press operator wanted in Howard County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Howard County, Indiana. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Day to day you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
