Hydraulic crane operator — Wayne County

Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Wayne County, Mississippi. Day to day you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits Full-time, day shift.
