Immediate opening: production line operator (Alaska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a production line operator in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. On a typical shift you will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; set up and start the machine as per the job card. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
