Visual inspection operator — Jones County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Jones County, Iowa. You will work at a food processing unit. Day to day you will draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer. Requirements: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
