Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Towner County, North Dakota. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Day to day you will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
