Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Cape May County, New Jersey. On the job you will handle: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
