Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Wilkinson County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
