Health and safety supervisor • Jackson County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Jackson County, Mississippi. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day-to-day duties: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
