Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Calabar Municipal, Cross River State. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
