Immediate opening: guest service agent (Wales)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a guest service agent in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. You will work in a hostel or budget hotel. What we are looking for: • Previous front desk or guest-facing hospitality experience • Fluent in the local language plus good spoken English • Calm under pressure when the desk is busy or a guest is upset On the job you will handle: • Handle same-day, online and phone reservations • Run the night audit and close the day's accounts on the night shift • Monitor the PMS for overbookings and no-shows • Verify ID and payment details against the booking record • Balance the cash float and run the shift report at end of shift • Provide directions, local recommendations and tourist information Pay around £2,900 per month, based on your experience.
