Refrigeration field service technician — Karasuwa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Karasuwa, Yobe State. You will work in an HVAC service company. On the job you will handle: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
