Horizontal milling machine operator • City of Saint Louis, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in City of Saint Louis, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
