Natural gas fitter — Orange County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Orange County, North Carolina. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day to day you will install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
