Gtaw welder — Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Jackson County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience.
