Gas meter installer — Cannon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Cannon County, Tennessee. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Your main tasks: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
