Retail butcher wanted in Grant County

Join our team: we are hiring a retail butcher in Grant County, Nebraska. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
