We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Marshall County, Tennessee. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
