Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel technician in Laurens County, South Carolina. You will work at a paint and panel shop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes The role involves straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
