Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. On a typical shift you will present documents at weighbridges and check posts; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock. You should have: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
