Garment machinist — Dakota County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Dakota County, Nebraska. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go.
