Precision welder • Hale County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Hale County, Texas. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. On the job you will handle: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE 2+ years on the tools preferred.
