Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Ido-Osi, Ekiti State. You will work at a car service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres You should have: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers 3+ years on the tools preferred.
