Single needle operator • Richmond County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Richmond County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
