Great opportunity: flatlock machine operator (Niger State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Katcha, Niger State. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 4+ years on the tools preferred.
