Health and safety supervisor • Copper River Census Area, Alaska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. Day to day you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
