Gtaw welder • Putnam County, Florida

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Putnam County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
