Precision welder — Iron County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Iron County, Missouri. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Part-time with flexible hours.
