Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Johnston County, Oklahoma. The job is on a dam or embankment job. Day-to-day duties: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
