Sewing machine operator wanted in Neosho County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Neosho County, Kansas. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
