Great opportunity: steam press operator (Maryland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Dorchester County, Maryland. You will be based at a garment factory. Day to day you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
