Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a residential housing project. The role involves carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
