Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Leavenworth County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Leavenworth County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Part-time with flexible hours.
