Formwork carpenter wanted in Highland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Highland County, Virginia. You will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
