UPVC door and window fabricator — Sitka City and Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame You should have: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
