Gas service engineer — Panola County

Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches On the job you will handle: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
