Now hiring: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Birnin Magaji-Kiyaw, Zamfara State. The job is in a botanical garden. Your main tasks: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
