Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Monongalia County, West Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day to day you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays.
