CO2 welder — White County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in White County, Georgia. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Six days a week, one day off.
