Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Menifee County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy body shop. What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns On a typical shift you will set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch.
