Now hiring: power float operator (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Wilbarger County, Texas. You will work on a building construction site. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules On the job you will handle: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
