AC and fridge repair technician wanted in Humboldt County

Now hiring: we are hiring an AC and fridge repair technician in Humboldt County, California. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Your main tasks: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves You should have: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Six days a week, one day off.
