We are recruiting: we are hiring a beldar in Turner County, Georgia. The role involves mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. You should have: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
