Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Ouray County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Ouray County, Colorado. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day to day you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points.
