Great opportunity: we are hiring a beldar in Ida County, Iowa. The job is on a residential housing site. Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites On a typical shift you will stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
