Concrete labourer • Allen County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Allen County, Kansas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage On a typical shift you will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
