Urgent requirement: lift installation engineer (Tennessee)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Decatur County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy lift company. Day to day you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; run load and overload tests with test weights; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
