Join our team: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in San Mateo County, California. The role involves demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors. You should have: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills Overtime paid at a premium rate.
