Incoming goods inspector — Marion County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Marion County, Florida. You will be based on a garment production line. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Willing to work rotating and night shifts 3+ years on the tools preferred.
