System formwork carpenter — Pemiscot County

Now hiring: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Pemiscot County, Missouri. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Part-time with flexible hours.
