You will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Rotating shifts.
